OK - Michael Del Zotto, number one defenseman. How bizarre is that. I know that probably doesn't speak much of the current state of the Flyers defense, but how big has he been since Coburn and Macdonald went down with injuries? And glad to see he got a goal tonight.

Observations,

The porn stars will be stalking MDZ soon, what a signing

PEB and Akeson >>>> Vinny and Umby.

VV is Berubes son.

And we are getting an early glimpse of what it is like having mobile D men that can move the puck, makes such a difference even with lesser players. If a Berube ever chooses Gross to sit when Coburn and A Mack come back, it will be huge.

It's the last thing I would have expected. That whole "project"/"headcase" confidence stigma is always scary when you take a chance on a signing.

OK, from now on, as far as I'm concerned, the Bellemare line is the third line and the Lecavelier line is the fourth line.

I always liked MDZ even when he was with the Rangers. Not sure what happened to him but hopefully this great play from him is a sign of a turnaround and not a hot streak.

Rinaldo has had a good game tonight. If he always played like this then that contract extension would be a bit more bearable.
