Great start with a good two effort and now keep hitting and grinding the Kings and get another win.

I am sorry but 10:30 is a bit late for a game to start. I get 7:30 PM start times on weekends but LA's traffic problem shouldn't dictate start time.

Kings are an old team, Kovalchuk (35), Carter (34), Brown (34), Thompson (34), Phaneuf (33), Lewis (32), Kopitar (31), Martinez (31), Doughty (29), Muzzin (29)
Only young players getting PT: Forbort (26), Toffoli (26), Pearson (26), Iafallo (25), Kempe (22)

I see a massive rebuild job in their near future, not just shedding the veterans, but Kempe is the only player likely to be around in 5 years when the rebuild is complete - they're way past "reloading."

Problem:
Carter, 4 yrs left at $5.25M
Kopitar, 6yr at $10M
Brown, 4 years at $5.9M
Phaneuf, 3 years at $5.25M
Martinez, 3 years at $4M
Quick, 5 years at $5.8M

You're gonna struggle to move these players, much less get any value back for them.

It sure was nice to sleep in until 10:10 this morning!!!

We beat a poor team yesterday and play a worse team in LA. This should be a win. I believe I said we will go 3-1 on this trip...we are on the way!

oh...and fantastic GDT song! One of their very best!!!
Still have to play hard to win in the nhl which they finally did for 60. Babt steps but a solid COMPETE game. Kings are struggling but should have won atleast 2 more games but the flyers have to come out hard a take the game because kings wont give it away.

I would take Carter without much issue depending on the cost.
