For all the crap Zalatoris has gotten for his putting this year (which appears to have notably improved), he sure can hang at the top of majors leaderboards. Everyone else favoured over him is stinking it up.

The broadcast doesn't seem to care or notice that Fitzpatrick, who for years was too short to hack it on big boy courses, has driven it 350 off the tee the past few holes and is top 10 in driving distance this week. Their reaction to him cutting the corner on 17 was 'whatever'. Tough.

Oh, they just called it out!

I’m going with Burns to take this, but if it’s a first timer on the PGA Tour, I think Fitzpatrick is more likely than Zalatoris. If someone posts a low score early on though, it could hold up. I doubt more than 2-3 are under par by the end of the day.

If Rory was where he was after shooting his best round of the tournament, I would pick him, but he looked lost on the greens. Would be easy to pick Rahm, and I really like him. Great interview and is probably the favorite. I am going to say Bradley takes it.

Course playing much easier, and suddenly the Denny McCarthys and the Nick Hardys of the golf world are suddenly creeping back into it. Really sad and disgraceful.

Eh, at this moment in time 7 out of the top 10 players here are ranked 18th or higher in OWGR. They're bound to have a couple randos ranked near the top in this tourney. I would fault the best players for not taking full advantage of easier conditions.

Looking like it won't be the case, but I hope we don't end up with a clubhouse winner. Those are worst ends to majors.

Got a hard time seeing the winner being someone other than Fitzpatrick, Scheffler, or Zalatoris

It feels like no one can put more than one shot together

Zalatoris was careless with his last putt and it almost rimmed out.

Oh man, Fitzpatrick doing the only thing he couldn’t.
