If Knight is fine to play on this West Coast trip, Vorobyev will likely sit and be sent to the AHL in early November. If not, Vorobyev may slot in with ~10TOI due to lack of intensity and effort. Rare to throw him under the bus when we see that from everyone.

Vorobyev won’t remain with the team past December unless his game completely changes to fit what Hak wants. If I saw a good bet on this, id probably put a decent amount of money down. I really don’t think Misha stays.

If we lose 3 out of 4 on this road trip, think it’s enough to axe hak?
Nope. Hextall likes Hakstol. My guess is that this team really needs to be on the brink of failure. We can obviously turn around with a decent amount of the year left to go. My guess is that Sub 500 in 2 months would be the calling card.

I 100% think Hextall has said “get it done” or something in similar fashion to Hak, but not what we think it is. He still has faith... something we all lost.

I also guarantee you that this "lack of intensity and effort" is a misdiagnosis. Guaranteed. Does Jeff strike you as the kind of perceptive, insightful, modern thinker who can understand a young player still getting his feet under him on a new continent, in a new league, with a new team and a new language? He doesn't seem that way to me. I'll say it again - maybe we could stand to see a bit more nurture and a bit less thermonuclear when it comes to the handling of young players. Not kid gloves, but maybe just regular gloves instead of steel gauntlets.

I hide it well, but I am sick to death of this ****ing piece of ****.

Taylor Leier making the trip out West with the Flyers... me thinks he’s going to play for Vorobyev.

Uh, Vorobyev spent a year in the AHL, he didn't just come across the pond.
He's just not ready, he turned in on for two weeks but couldn't sustain that level of play.
The coach may be the wrong coach, but it doesn't mean the players are the right players.

"You win or you die" applies to players as well as coaches.
