I'm really sick and unlikely to watch this game live. In case I'm passed out or in too much agony to post during the game I'd like to preemptively complain about the following:

- The PP
- Drouin's usage
- Stamkos' invisibility
- Carle's existence

I will also leave you with this fun fact. There are only 2 players in the entire league with 20+ games played and zero points. They are New Jersey's Merrill with 22 games played and Tampa Bay's own Matthew Carle with 25 pointless games. Now if you extend it back to last season sadly Merrill's streak is only 24 games while Carle's is 31. I'm assuming that's the longest pointless streak among active players but at least he's only paid 5.5m

I looked that up out of curiosity since I wanted to see how he compared to other pointless players. Turns out there's really not that many of them. Those two with 20+ games and then 5 more in the 15-19 range. Carle also has the highest average TOI of those 7.

There's a whole ton of 20+ gamers with 1 point though so Carle will have plenty of company at some point this season. Probably.
