By no means was this a perfect game tonight, but a lot of good things happened and Vasy hid a lot of mistakes.

BTW Perbix very quietly had 21 minutes and led the team in shifts, kid had a great game. Hopefully signs his sophomore slump is coming to an end.

Wow, finally some 5 on 5 scoring and two even came without a point for Kuch. Feels like the four 5 on 5 goals were more than the whole season combined to this point. Even the defense wasn't as bad as they've been on most nights and when they made a mistake, Vasy was there to bail them out like in the good old days.

Pittsburgh will be a good test for if this was just a one game thing. They always beat us.

Vasy bailed our mistakes honestly. They got 1 clean breakaway and about 3 partial. Not bad. They did get stupid defending pucks behind the net again and Vasy bailed us out in the first minute of the game. I think we did a lot better getting in front of pucks so maybe structure is getting better. We had a ton of blocked shots.

Real talk, whats the expectation for $6M now around the league? 20 or 30 goals? I feel like I am stuck in the mindset that $6M should at bare minimum be a 20g-30a guy. Or at least 50 points in whatever way possible.

I think 50-55 points is reasonable, not sure how you can justify <45 points for 6M despite his defense (which only really helps when the entire team plays well). Everyone crying about Killorn being "overpaid" but he puts up 60 points and had the same usage as Cirelli.

Nice win! Vasi was great, especially made some key saves in the first, then we had a really solid game. I especially enjoyed the fourth goal, 3-0 up in the third and Bagel creates the goal by some great forechecking!

Fair point. But not everyone is valuable simply for their scoring. Him and Killorn have/had two different roles.

I don’t think the team gave him that extension with the expectation he’d be a PP1 fixture.
