It also leaves the second PP noticeably weaker. I think Miller was demoted for missing some tap ins lately (and Gourde is pretty money from one foot out of the net), but some of his puck control/passing decisions just aren't at that elite tier. Killorn/Miller just fit the top PP's style so much better.
