Seems like so many times Poitras would be wide open in front of the net but his teammates never seemed to want to pass it to him .

didn`t really feel this TC was strong from the get go, too bad but it is what it is. Was not a fan of the coach shortening the bench almost from opening puck drop consistently either. I`ll still watch as this is hands down, my fav hockey tourney of any kind

The USA-Latvia game was the last game in the great broadcasting career of Dennis Beyak, he was the voice of the Jets for a number of years until last season, he said the World Juniors was always his favourite to call, even though he was on the secondary team for the TSN crew.
