McDavid is gonna light up this team tonight. Hat Trick incoming.

With all these Metropolitan win streaks of 6-10 games theres no way Tampa is gonna get a wildcard spot with how stacked that division is. They have to win a division spot.

That offense is just brutal man. Absolutely brutal. I don't know how a fan can expect this team to win on a nightly basis given how many injuries we've had.

We're heading back to the draft lottery. Mcdavid is going to own us tonight indeed.

As of today we're 5th in our division however the three tams behind us only have 2-3 points fewer than us, if we keep losing and they don't we can find ourselves last in not only our division but in the conference as well (Islanders are last and they are only 4 points behind us)...though I'm not sure if looking at the standings would help the team since they have to understand this.

I am more concerned with how they keep saying how they should have won this and that game, like last night, seem like something is up that goes beyond the play on the ice.

Cooper after last game blamed the GWG on a "marginal" call. When will the excuses stop?

No idea how anyone can think this team will make the playoffs when we can't string two wins together against mediocre teams.

So much needs fixing. The coach, the defense, the structure, the culture, the PK. ****, we even seem more injury prone than other teams. Seems like we have several critical injuries every season. That's a big problem.

This season was bound to come. This season is the culmination of all the problems that have been pointed out over the past few years. Many just ignored the problems because we were winning games. Well, now the bubble has burst. Hard to pretend the problem doesn't exist now, isn't it?

Exactly, where are all those Cooper white-knighters who justified the means by the results? You can only sweep things under the rug for so long, some of these Cooper flaws have been obvious for years.

He has a decent system that he lives and dies by. Some of his on the fly stuff are very questionable. It always tend to show during the playoffs.

We want Roy!!

Patrick Roy for HC!!

#FireCooper

Not all Coop's fault but have to think our strength and conditioning is an issue. You know who's team are not injury prone? Torterella's. Too bad hs is doing so well this year in CBJ!

With the blame game starting and with all this fire the coach talk it is interesting that there is no mention of the guy who actually built the team.

You bring up CBJ which is the perfect example because it is the near polar opposite of the way this team is constructed. TB is small and fast up front and big (but not necessarily physical) on the back end. CBJ has enough size up front and real power forwards (Dubinsky, Jenner, Saad, Hartnell) that they can have a couple Cam Atkinson types without it hurting them. Then on the back end they went more for puck movers like Jones and Werenski.

CBJ totally dominated TBL this year. Was it a battle of coaching systems or of the GMs personnel?

Lol @ this season was bound to come because we had weaknesses like ALL teams do. When the Penguins crash next season it'll be bound to come as well. No what happened is your broken clocks were finally somewhat right.

These things come in cycles. CBJ is doing great now but that same big tough personnel was a massive weakness as we skated circles around them before. The Penguins were getting shredded on the backend until they finally managed to get so uptempo upfront that they spend the whole game in the other teams end.

There is no guaranteed formula, folks. Copycatting the new hotness isn't plausible, and what works a couple years might not the next. Instead of losing your minds and playing the blame game let's look for what strengths we can play to.

Thanks for beating Calgary the other night. Also I will always cherish 2004, from St. Louis' OT winner in game 6 to the last seconds of game 7 - it was just beautiful to watch. I've never been so happy to watch another team lose. All these years later and Tampa is still my 2nd favourite team!
