That last goal was completely understandable given the situation, but otherwise that was a poor defensive effort.

Reimer was massive, 43 saves. Honestly, when you run into a goaltending performance like that your probably going to lose anyways.

Still 9-3 overall though, could be a lot worse. Time to regroup and get back at it.

The concerning part of this game is that we gave up 4 (or 5) goals to a **** offense, **** team. You're gonna be shut down by a goalie from time to time, but that's no excuse for letting in so many goals. Oduya and Goligoski are going to hold back our D. We need upgrades to the top-4 or we are going to get WRECKED once we start playing our divisional games/in the playoffs.

Eh hindsight will make or break the true outcome of this game. Either we'll end up breaking mentally because of how bad this game was and we'll go on a losing streak, or this'll be a huge wake up call. Hopefully the latter, huge game tonight in Boston though. I'm thinking Kari will be fresh and focused tonight though. Overall we were so unlucky against the leafs, however we have to stop with the unnecessary penalties, it's one thing to have an "edge" about you as a team, it's another to be stupid, and that's what happened tonight.
