If they get pushed around by the F----g Pens, time for Fletcher to hit the phones.

I would start Elliot and have Hart against NJ.
But what do I know?

Neither motivation nor fatigue should be an issue this time.

So I guess Morin is just actually a bust? Definitely doesn’t belong in the NHL, sucks had high hopes for him. Not Pronger hopes but he’s clearly not an NHL talent, sad.

I'd give him a few games, but he certainly did nothing to affirm the faith of those who were sure he was an upgrade over Hagg.
He's more Giraffe than Grizzly Bear.

So far Vignault has apparently followed the putting young players in spots to succeed philosophy.
If he stays the course in regard to Morin, he will hopefully keep him in the lineup for at least a couple of games and it's up to him to make an impression. Phil Myers is knocking down the door.

I would be surprised if Sam got another (non-injury) chance. A couple nightmare shifts is all it takes. Even then, Myers will likely get the call if there is a long term injury.

I doubt that very much. If they were that concerned about Sam not playing, they would have played him in the second half of that game. They were down 3 goals. Second half of a back-to-back. He was more or less benched.
