What's up with Minnesota? Last in the Central and getting throttled by the Providence Bruins.

They always peak too soon. This year they're trying to get their timing right.:sarcasm:

Seriously though, early on they had a lot of injuries. But now Coyle is the only guy missing, since Parise is an after thought. Guys are just playing stupid. Normally you'd see Dubs getting pulled, but with BB leaving him in, you know the whole team is crapping the bed. Pulling him won't make a damn difference. Right now they couldn't even beat District 5.

It was a top corner snipe. Maybe the Leafs D should try playing defence.

They haven't been that bad tonight defensively. You have to make that save at this level. It doesn't matter if it's top corner or not....if your square and there's no deflection, a good goalie needs to get a piece of that puck- blocker, shoulder, whatever.

The problem is, Andersen hasn't looked good all year, he's gotten beaten consistently by those.

Andersen is not a #1 goalie. Simply embarrassing. Guy can not stop a beach ball.

Anderson has been playing like garbage this entire year. If you get paid 5 a year you should be able to steal a few games a year or at the very least, hold a lead the odd time.

Man it's clear he's nursing something, but Matthews is still getting great looks

He still looks dominant at times but it's clear something is bothering him....he was on a different planet before the last 2 games or so. His shot is lacking zip and hes not beasting every battle with his stick-work alone. It's been going on since Saturday night, and possibly got injured it against the Kings. I think it's a bad wrist or hand injury on his dominant hand.....he had 2 chances he usually finishes (one on the PP short-side and on the clean break)......he's lacking some zip on his shot.
