I'll predict a 4-3 win and a multi-point night from Ennis. Too bad we don't have Jack because he seemed to score a bunch vs Ottawa.

Kane won't play obviously.

Has he even been cleared to practice with the team. Non-contact? Full contact?

I was under the impression he wouldn't actually play in a game for more than a couple more weeks

@BuffNewsVogl - Could be an emotional night in Ottawa as Craig Anderson returns from being with his wife and is first goalie off for morning skate.
Craig Anderson will indeed start for the Senators on #HockeyFightsCancer night in Ottawa.
Robin Lehner will start in goal for the Sabres, while William Carrier will make his NHL debut.

Here are "Five Things To Know" as the Sabres visit the Senators.
#1 - Ottawa goaltender Craig Anderson is back after being with his cancer-stricken wife and will start in net.
#2 - Robin Lehner will start in goal for the Sabres.
#3 - Sabres left winger William Carrier will make his NHL debut.
#4 - Baptiste will boost the attendance. (Baptiste is from the area and will have a large cheering section at the game.)
#5 - The Sabres’ television broadcast will have a unique sound. (Dan Dunleavy fills in for Rick Jeanneret. Martin Biron fills in for Rob Ray.)

Why no Rob Ray?

Since RJ is off they might want the guys to work in pairs so Ray is off too. A better guess is that Ray travelled with the team but since he is from near Ottawa they gave him the night off to visit.

Kane had a 90 minute on ice workout today. He's going to take part in practice with contact on Thursday and if things go fine the target is for him to play Saturday vs New Jersey.

How the heck am I supposed to root against Anderson right now?

Go Sabres I guess. :dunno:

Edit: Who taught that cotton candy to sing? Not bad.

You'd think after a long NHL career Gionta would have picked up some transition intuition with regards to staying onside, but he's the worst player at it I think I've ever seen.
