I'd be okay with the Canucks moving down to shed salary and/or pick up an additional pick, especially if they have their target on someone they think might fall. They have done good in the 1st round recently, so may as well play to that strength a bit.
On this subject, moving down one spot isn't very much, but if someone is interested in the 10th overall, they are probably interested in 9th too.

Look man, the Avs have trade-raped the Sens enough already.

I wouldn't trade Paul for Kadri, let alone add. The Avs first is going to end up at 30/31, you'll need to do much better than that if the Sens are gonna move back that far.

Kadri is a better offensive player, but Paul fits the Sens identity perfectly. He's the role player type that you don't trade unless you're forced to.

Caphit of 6.25M for 6 more years. Sens have a lot of signings to make in that period. Nashville would have to retain like 1M which is a huge ask over 6 years
