Sanheim crossed over instead of holding his lane, it was his mistake.

He's made a lot of good plays, but has been a PP killer at times, like skating around with the puck for 30 seconds before being stripped, and then a stupid cross check.
Sanheim has made some really good plays this year, & also a lot of really bad ones.

Ultimately they’re going to need to move him back to the left side.

Walker has been their best D so far, & I hope they give him PP time.

Sanheim does not look comfortable on the PP to me. Never has.

Florida Swampland
I watched the game, like everyone else on this board did.

Egads....the Flyers need speed and more speed and mostest speed. Once they miraculously become faster then the game will tilt their way. Oh wait.......that speed is a physical attribute and not a mental/systems/Torts indicator/quality trait. There were a few plays where if Couts was a little speedier he would have been one on one.

As a line, the Farabee-Frost-TK line played together for only 2:07, but they lead the team in raw xGF.
They looked really looked with a true LW, true center and true RW all playing their natural positions. If the Flyers had any sense they'd give them the rest of the month together at least.

They have a lot more speed than the past, Frost, Tippett, TK, Sanheim.

Flyers defense, 5th among all teams in 20+ MPH bursts.

22+ MPH bursts, 89th percentile (Tippett)
20-22 MPH bursts, 50th percentile
18-20 MPH bursts, 81st percentile.
Skating distance, average per 60, 75th percentile
O-zone time, 56th percentile

Shooting
High Danger 79th percentile
Mid Range 84th percentile
Long Shot 59th percentile

Players: top speed,/bursts over 20+
Poehling 22.59 (92) / 91%
Tippett 22.46 (89) / 98%
Atkinson 22.21 (85) / 51%
Laughton 22.10 (81) / 51%
Farabee 21.91 (76) / 66%
Brink 21.60 (64) / 66%

Couts 21.47 (56) / 56%
Foerster 21.20 (<50) / 51%

Hathaway 20.91 (<50) / 62%
Frost 20.78 (<50) / (<50)
Cates 20.48 (<50) / (<50)
Deslauriers 20.47 (<50) / (<50)

Walker 22.08 (81) / 66%
Sanheim 22.06 (80) / 84%
Staal 21.82 (71) / (<50)
Andrae 21.80 (71) / (<50)

Seeler 21.34 (50) / (<50)
York 20.64 (<50) / (<50)
Zamula 20.60 (<50) / (<50)
Belpedio 20.31 (<50) / (<50)

Note, bursts over 20 are calculated against league average, so higher usage players will look better, and lower usage worse, hopefully they'll normalize these numbers at some point.,

This needs to happen,

But has ZERO % chance of happening.

The weird thing is in 4 games, Frost has yet to post a burst above league average.
On the other hand, Couts is faster than I thought. As is Staal. And Andrae.
