I think Zatkoff's performance tonight will depend on which Pens team shows up to play. If the defensively responsible team shows up, he'll be just fine. If it's the 'run & gun' version of the Pens, he'll need to stand on his head to pull out a win.

I'd prefer him to start at home against the Isles than away at the Leafs.

He's a ppg player playing with a guy way above his head in a top 6 role, and the other being a soft perimeter type.

Malkin's been our 2nd best offensive player. That's what he's paid to be. He'll get to another level when we're healthy again.

I think you are both right. He isn't playing like he wants to be the best player in the world. I know Crosby has run away with that title now, but it should be close. Geno's play has been a bit of a concern for me. That said, having Kobasew on your line is a joke. He has seen more of a revolving door over the years on his wing than any other star player. That definitely wears on a guy.
