JON COOPER: "We've taken so many steps forward in this training camp, it's been great. (Thursday) we took a step back. We don't make excuses for anybody, but we've done a lot of good things. Camp's hard though. It's long. You kind of hit those points where you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, but there's still more games to go before you get there. We'll look back, and this game doesn't really count, but it just goes to show when you're not quite working the way you should be, the league's too good to take any shifts off, and we did that a little bit. But, a lot of good things to learn from, and we'll get back at it two nights from now, and game on."
"Our special teams have been pretty good. I didn't necessarily like our pk (Thursday). I think we gave up too much. Power play barely got any work. It was a short time they were out there. We didn't really earn any penalties. We earned a lot of penalties against, and that's kind of what hurt us. But like I said, we've got a bunch of new guys, some key guys that play those situations were out of the lineup, a lot of the guys that bring the team into the fight were out. We got to see some different looks on the pk, and we'll just keep getting better. We're alright."
"We have one game left so I'd like to see us turn our game around, erase (Thursday), and maybe have a little bit of a look at our lines. Probably some things that you might see opening night, that you wouldn't necessarily see what you saw (Thursday). We've been playing a lot of different combinations, different guys, so on Saturday we'll kind of narrow this down to what our look will be."
