I saw some play in the preseason where he just blew through 4 guys and put it in like it was nothing. It's really a shame he blew five years in the KHL.

Not to beat a dead horse, but for a 20 year old drafted in the latter half of the first round, tasked with 1st pairing duties, Cholowski has looked really, really good.

There's obviously been mistakes and I'm not saying he BELONGS on the 1st pairing, but he's handling it.

An elite skillset with elite conditioning, the only problem was if his mind could adapt back to the NHL, seems fine so far - he's not taking risky plays and making smart ones.

Wish Stamkos had a wider skillset like Kovalchuk.
