That's just what our D is, I think. We either mix Carle and Sustr in, or we play them together. But with the way Coop likes to flatten ice time, that means they're on the ice together for more time than we're comfortable with.

Rather see some more Koekkoek. Sustr still looks bad and soft. If Garrison can carry Carle, a Koekkoek-Coburn pairing looks great.

Angelidis unfortunately is not an NHL caliber player and surprised he is still in camp...he should be in the AHL leading that team instead of up here with the Lightning. I love what Angelidis brings...to the Syracuse Crunch. Big fan...but he doesn't below in the NHL unfortunately.

Agreed...but giving him the last game in preseason out of respect? Fails the logic test. You keep him in camp out of respect...but you play your starting lineup today. Since Paquette is not ready...you play Vladdy. Has to go beyond respect...Angelidis really is looking like first call-up for bottom 6 forward instead of Peca/Richard/Erne, etc. Or he has a legit shot at making the 23 man roster which would really be a tremendous shock to me.

Something about this very short video makes me happy, they just all look like they are getting along and it's hard to explain I guess, but it's a positive feeling and the one you want to see from your team, no lockerroom problems.

Why wouldn't they plug Marchessault in? Makes no sense to play Nesterov out of position in the final preseason game. Unless they got their Nikitas mixed up.
