Left Bogosian (knee) in the lineup for now with no Wednesday update on his status. Nelson could very well be in and that'll get cleared up after the 10am morning skate.

Yeah, the game preview was full of tidbits. :wedgie:
  • The Sabres are 5-2-3 in their last 10 games vs. the Maple Leafs; 9-0-1 at home.
  • The Sabres are 68-25-8 at home against the Maple Leafs all-time.
  • Tyler Ennis has 17 points (8+9) in 17 games against the Maple Leafs since the beginning of the 2011-12 season.
  • Matt Moulson has 25 points (16+9) in 28 career games against the Maple Leafs. He needs a point tonight to avoid going pointless in three straight against Toronto for the first time in his career.
  • The Sabres are 17-1-1 in their last 19 home games against the Maple Leafs, including wins in their last seven. A win tonight would give the Sabres their first ever eight-game winning streak at home against Toronto.

A win against the leafs is like taking a morning dump in peace while the cool autumn wind creeks through the open window caressing your naked thighs.

Shut Matthews down like we did McDavid, win big like we did against the Oilers, all without Eichel, proving our rebuild is just where we thought it was, ahead of those two teams.

I still expect to read Toronto area articles themed: Sabres a mess; Maple Leafs rebuild far superior despite goaltending.

Can someone explain to me why Nelson didn't at least dress last game?

The TO fans are an awfully optimistic bunch on their forum today. I am less confident with losing Bogo, but we do have a really good record at home against TML.

Sabres grind out a win 4-3

I see us coasting to a relatively east 5-1 victory. 4 regulation wins in a row. Been a while since we could say that. :handclap:

The amount of arrogance is amazing. Serve them up some humble pie tonight please. If Kulikov can hit a few of the leafs like he did voracek that would be nice
