Please vote for your Players of the Game. Multiple votes allowed. New voting system this season.

All roster players who are suited for the game will be listed and eligible for votes, minus the back up goalie unless he plays. Each players vote total will go in the standings listing. So if Tavares gets 5 votes for Game 1 and 10 votes for Game 2, his point total would be 15 points.

Each user can vote for each player once. Just check all the boxes you want to vote for and then click vote.

So go ahead and vote for your Players of the Game. Thread will be open near end of game.

How many votes does each person get? Like you can vote for five people, or Tavares five times; or Tavares three times and Okposo twice?

Nelson, JT, Boychuk, and went with Halak. Made big saves even though he ended up giving up three goals

Nelson, Boychuk, JT and put Halak in there even though we let up the late goals because he made a bunch of big stops early on when we needed it.

Brock Nelson: last pick of the first round of the 2010 draft, first in our hearts.

Also voted for Boychuk and Reinhart.

Tavares, Nelson, Boychuk

Martin and Halak runners up.

Was only displeased with strait and Bailey. Conacher was good at times and not so good at others

Great team effort. I know they gave the canes some life in the third, but the pros outweighed the cons by a good margin.

Brock Nelson is the player of the game IMO.
He just showed us and the rest of the NHLnthat he's is taking the next step and a legit NHL star on the rise.

The saves Halak made when it was 0-0, when the Isles were flat AND the saves he made at 2-0 were the types of saves the Isles never got last season (though Nabokov was pretty good for the most part - Poulin/Nilsson really struggled). His play allowed the Isles to stay in the game and build confidence on the PP - then they just steam-rolled the Canes (who were awful tonight)

Tavares makes the right play seemingly every time he touches the puck. Special player. His one glaring mistake was on Terry's goal when he tried to steal the puck off Sekera instead of playing defensively.

Brock Nelson looked amazing. Taking away his goals, he was still unbelievable tonight. He was skating hard at BOTH ends of the ice, head up all the way - he looked dangerous.

Halak deserves a lot of credit for the first 2 periods. He really looked fantastic. A couple ppgs in the 3rd made his game look worse than it was. He might not be THE player of the game but I feel a lot better with him between the pipes.
