Wouldn't the graphical representation just show how misleading raw xG is, though? The bulk of that gap was bridged after being 4-0 behind. I mean, this is what "score effects" is supposed to be and all...

Perry scored 14 goals in 106 games in the previous two regular seasons and he's well on pace to surpass that this season alone with us, which is pretty nuts when you think about it. Perry still had respectable playoff totals, though - 5 goals in 2020, 4 in 2021 - and hopefully he's able to do that again as well for us. If nothing else, one type of guy you can't have enough of is the kind of forward who is comfortable scoring those greasy goals off rebounds in-close. Being able to stay in there against all the checking and maintain composure.
