I was thinking the same thing as he usually bounces back from games where he played poorly or got pulled.

If there was any game that we've had to win this season so far, this would be it in my mind to stay alive. A win could hopefully a streak.

I'm glad Thornton should be back as Columbus beat us last time with physicality. The questions is now, who will sit in his place?

When your linemates are bergenheim, bolland, fleischman, upshall, and jokinen. I would argue these prospects will never have a chance to reach their potential.

the veterans this team brings in to supplant the young talent just isnt good enough. They are overpaid and under perform.

I think it'll be largely improving from within. Maybe a trade for a scoring winger, but I don't see anything being addressed in free agency.

If the economics stay as forecast for the CDN dollar, having cap space will be a big trade commodity.
