Fun game. McDavid's goal was weak, we blew the PP chance in the 3rd, then a waste of a 6-on-5 was frustrating but it's not like we deserved the win. Just felt like TB should've had some more chances to get back in it.

Really didn’t have any energy in the first. I think that was to be expected after the emotional high that was last night, and you eventually have to come back down. We were able to make a game of it almost, but too many mistakes.

Stammer had said last night they already accomplished their goal of getting more points than games played on this road trip, but too bad they couldn’t add to it. Oh well

6 on 5 you punch it towards the net and hope the crowding causes an ugly goal. And even if the other team retrieves it, they’re deeper in their own zone.

Definitely not a fan of pulling the goalie with 2+ minutes left.

Sure, you increase your team’s chances of tying it marginally, but you also increase the other team’s chances of wrapping the game up early exponentially.

With 45 seconds or less left that won’t matter because, as every schoolboy knows, a loss is a loss. But with 2 minutes plus left, time is the enemy. Why increase the opportunity for that remaining 2 minutes to be wasted?

Do you disagree? Btw...he is the best goalie in the league. He is amazing. All I'm saying is the games where he totally stands on his head are much fewer this yr. His stats show it. It's ok to say he is having an ok year by his standards.
