Alicat hopes to do the GDT for Saturday's game with Toronto. It has been a very hard time for her and she is very grateful for all the kind thoughts that have been posted.

Bruins and Sabres PR departments can not agree on what that all times series record is :dunno:

These next three will really show us if this team has anything.

They need to atone for the 6-3 on the 26th.

They need to carry that win home and bring it against Toronto.

Obviously, Tuesday is the final push up the mini mountain.
@Montreal, nuff said.

The next TEN are soft before it gets real hard. If they flounder here, Sweeney's decision will be rather simple in my books. The worst that could happen would be going .500 in this stretch. I'd rather they go .300 or .700. Would really dislike anything the middle that doesn't give management a clear choice.

they need a clean regulation win to get back on track tonight and tomorrow otherwise it'll only get more difficult when they swing out west.... need krecji, pasta and yes even mcquaid back. hoping sweeney reads our threads and makes CJ sit K miller and runs

chara-c miller
krug-seids
morrow-trotman

sit joonas and bring koko up for 3rd line center duties.

we should run something like

marchand-bergy-Belesky
Eriksson-Spooner-Connlly (only cuz conolly needs a setup man)
vatrano-koko-hayes
rinaldo-talbot-ferraro

ps why was Hayes taking faceoffs the last couple games?

If the Bruins don't get 4 points in these next two games, I don't have much faith in them making the playoffs.

I miss the old Adams Division wars with these guys.

Ask any long time Sabres fan who there biggest rival is and Boston comes in a solid #2 after close by Toronto. Sports fans in WNY despise all things Boston because of the Patriots and Bruins.

The view from Buff-a-lo

http://sabres.buffalonews.com/2016/01/14/sabres-notebook-players-know-more-home-focus-needed/

The Sabres are 0-4-1 in their last five home games. They’ve allowed the opening goal in eight of the last nine. Overall, they’ve been outscored, 60-46, in the arena.

They hope this time they can maintain the good vibes created on the road. Buffalo has won two straight, beating Winnipeg and Minnesota. It scored the opening goal in both games, improving to 11-6 when scoring first.

“We talked about good starts, so obviously we got good starts with the first goal,†center Johan Larsson said. “We’ve got to make sure we play the same style, simplify it a little more at home. Maybe we try too much of the fancy stuff. It’s just get to the net, and that’s how we scored on the goals on the road. We’ll try to carry that into home ice here.â€

It won’t be easy to turn things around. Boston is sixth in the NHL with a road record of 12-5-3. The Capitals rank first at 16-4-2.

I believe it.

Our worst moment against Buffalo happened in 1993.

The way the playoffs played out the Bruins had they beaten Buffalo in Round 1 could have won the Cup. Everything broke in Montreal's favor that season.

The last few GDT threads I have tried sending this team positive energy and only the NJ game worked out like I thought it would.
Now. I still want to wish the Bruins a big W tonight, however I will also go ahead and say that this teams future making the PO's will all depend on what this team does the next seven games....
If they do not show who they are VS Buf,Tor and the Scabs, this team will go forward lacking the big cahoonas to show that they mean business and will just keep declining and the Nucks, Jackets, Flyers and Ducks will also have an easier time exploiting this team down the seven game stretch and before you know it we will further back than we wanted to be.
Thus, This team needs to absolutely put it together the next three games or else we may be singing a different tune come the end of January.
Just my five cents.......
