Actually they weren't puck luck....they were nice, hard earned goals. I was using a bit of sarcasm (and sadness) as a response to something I had read earlier.

Yeah I kinda figured and was too lazy to look up what it was about. Just used the opportunity to cry about our puck luck and the lack of it.

Thought this was interesting.

Haula's TOI was 15:20. He had more TOI than:

Parise 15:06
Carter 14:42
Granlund 12:29
Zucker 12:17
Niederreiter 12:42
Vanek 11:34
Pominville 11:16 (least TOI from the whole team)

Only forwards who had more TOI:

Koivu 19:08
Fontaine 16:04
Coyle 15:50
Stoll 15:45

Stoll, Fontaine and Haula got lots of PK time. What did we have, 5 penalties?

Just watched the game now. Good to see 56/29 show up and pot a few. If they can stay consistent, they should be a solid line. I always though Haula was solid in our end and Nino is by no means bad. I think they compliment Pommer well in that regard as he is pretty below average in our end.

Like the result, don't like giving up 3.

To be fair one of those 3 was off of Dumba's face.

I really like the note evenly split up ice time. We don't have any superstar lines, no need to load one up with tons of time.

Also, Reilly was very noticeable (in a good way) for only having played 10 ES minutes.

JB, not having Brodin and Scandella matters, especially when we have 5/6 penalties against. On the third goal Prosser was in some sort of positional black hole... Still would've liked Doobs to have stopped it.

Folin is far from perfect, but at least there is a chance for him to be a decent Dman. Prosser is just awful.

This is how the wild were built. Not great, just solid. Wave after wave after wave.
