Carl Hagelin enters NY Rangers camp 'planted' on roster after promising rookie season, wants to become consistent scoring threat
BY Pat Leonard

http://www.nydailynews.com/blogs/ra...nted-on-roster-after-promising-rookie-season-

“Hags has changed our team since we brought him up,†Tortorella said Monday. “He’s changed the dynamic of our team and does a lot of good things with some of our top players as far as chasing down pucks. But I just want (him) to believe that he can score goals, too. This was one of the conversations we had at the end of last year.â€

How pleased was Tortorella with Hagelin’s debut season? On Monday, while saying Chris Kreider “is still fighting for a spot,†the coach emphasized that Hagelin “is more planted into our roster,†especially because of his speed. On the forecheck, Hagelin often is able to pressure defensemen out of their comfort zones into committing turnovers.

Added again a poll. How many points will Hags score? Remember it's a 48-game season.

Just over 15 is my guess; not just shortened season, but their D first approach both = reduced goals.

Also, you said season only, not playoffs also.

I see Hagelin as a breakout 20 goal guy, full season. Maybe 23. That's around 13, 14 in this shortened season.

But I voted for more than 60 cause how ****in crazy would that be?

This is totally dependent on where in the lineup he plays and how much PP time he sees. He should easily be a .5 PPG player with top 6 min.

Voted <15 because I thought it was goals lol I think he'll end up with a total in the high 20s or low 30s

I reset and edited the poll.

Please vote again based on the number of POINTS you think he'll get in 48 games.

I chose 25-29 points.
