277 gms, 58 extra points = 0.552 pt% - (53 pts this season, 91 over 82)

West
272 gms, 72 extra points = 0.566 pt% - (54 pts this season, 93 over 82)

Overall
549 gms, 130 extra pts = 0.559 pt% - (54 and 92)

So basically right on the historical pace overall... but we see a very slight difference in each conference. More 60 min ties suggests a greater level of parity.. a very slight difference with just 2.6% more games going to extra time in the west over the east. (14/549 total gms)

Edit.. or do i show the difference as 5.6%??:
East: 58/277 20.9%
West: 72/272 26.5%

2.6% or 5.6% difference?

2 weeks left in the season. I have 20.1% of eastern games going to OT/SO, and 26.0% in the west. Difference between 1/4 and 1/5.

360 gms, 72 xtra pts = 792 pts handed out = 0.550 pt % was 'average' in the east.

West
360 gms, 90 xtra pts = 810 pts handed out = 0.563 pt % was 'average' in the west.

Total
720 gms, 162 xtra pts = 1602 pts handed out = 0.556 pt % was the league wide average.

Pretty much online with the overall numbers since the big lockout..
