Panthers can score but defensively and goaltending seems like a strong weakness

Islanders are a "boring" team but can grind you out and Sorokin is probably a top 3 goalie in the league, he can definitely steal some games.

Pittsburgh just has the Crosby factor which I guess can give them a run but I have my doubts with their weaker depth and goaltending .

Buffalo is a wild guess. Levi seems strong but would you exploit him or would we make him look like Roy/Broderick? Besides that I think we can take them fairly easily.

Playoff tune up wise Islanders/Panthers probably give us the best playoff tempo type game and Pittsburgh would be an "easier" first round

None of the potential first round opponents concern me. The two teams that I think could beat the Bruins in 7 games are the Canes, and -- yes, I'm gonna say it -- the Leafs. Samsonov is playing well and I think the Bolts are cooked. I don't think the Rags match up well with the B's.

Buffalo and the Pens both losing tonight. Nobody wants those last two spots.

I just discovered that the Devils have never had a 100 point player in franchise history. I know they were known for their trapping and defense in their heyday, but I would have bet a hundo that Patrick Elias, John MacLean, or Kirk Muller would have hit that mark once.

Their 3rd power play in a row coming up .

It's not for naught they have the most favourable net penalties statistic of any franchise. 934 more PP's than penalties (Montreal are second at +858, but also have 6949 games played compared to Pittsburgh's 4333). Bruins are -570.

I'd be apoplectic if I was a CHI fan right now.

You've made it this far being a bag of shit all season, just to blow it now.

Panthers going into the playoffs riding white hot Alex Lyon was not on my bingo card. Hamburglar 2.0. If they face us, hopefully it ends the same way.
