Were you not excited at the proposition of Bratt playing on a line with Gusev? His most common linemates this year are Gusev and Hughes.You're right. It's not a good start for him.
But I'm far from worried about him and his career as a Devil.
All he needs is to be put in the proper position to succeed.
It's a tired sports-related cliche but it's true.
Hynes has done the opposite of that.
I, for one, would never have broken up the Hall - Nico - Bratt line in the first place which is what Hynes did LAST SEASON (remember?) as well.
He is still spooked about Bratt's 2nd-half fade EVEN NOW.
It pisses me off that he's playing him so little after 2 seasons....now in the 3rd.
