Dan was the first coach he hired up there in Pittsburgh, but it wasn't the only head coach he had there. He fired Therrien (hired before he got there), but he kept Therrien for a while before firing him and fired him just a few months after getting to an SCF.

The first time he really should have probably fired Byslma was really only a year before he was let go.
