What would it cost Toronto to land Zack Smith at 50% retained?

Player that has the ability to slot up in the line-up should someone get hurt. Plays with an edge and can help on the PK.

I assume one of Gauthier, Lindholm, Ennis has to head the other way plus picks and prospects.

Why though? Our 4th line has been great. Our PK has been great. He's 30 and even at 50% retained is more expensive than the players you listed.

With all the talk of moving out Salary I don't understand why the Leafs would move ELC players for someone with term and salary that at best is a 4th liner and more likely than not is in the press box here. Lots of 4th liners in the system with bigger upside from the Marlies they would want to get a look before him.

Next year the 4th line is speculated to be Moore - GOAT - Marlie/Ennis back cheap

Should be able 2.5 AAV in total for the 4th line.
