He will be on the TC roster for the summer WJC-20.
Sorry but with all the camps and games in the Summer I am not certain what this means.

Are you saying he will be at the TC for the 2022 championships team slated to play in August or a Summer TC for the team that will play in December?

Would be sick if he could play both.

Looks like he has improved his skating and is tough to handle being so big.
From my viewings at the development camp what I noticed was his determination, drive & compete level that makes him really difficult to handle plus being big & strong & his skating is also good. Ostapchuk - Greig - Boucher would be a handful to handle if they were ever on the same line.

So I saw Ostapchuk play when I went to Vancouver (Langley, if you want to get specific!) in November. They lost that night to Kamloops, 4-1, but Ostapchuk was the best player on the ice for the Giants by a mile. He logged a ton of ice time and played in all situations - PP and PK in addition to his regular ice. Nice skater - he's not Formenton, but very few are. I think he projects well as a middle six NHL power forward - exactly what his scoring touch in the NHL will be is tough to say, but I think it's safe to say at this point that he is a legit NHL prospect. A full year in Belleville next year should round him into form nicely...

I'm pretty excited about this guy. He could be a really nice 3rd, or even 2nd, line player in a couple of years. Really nice speed; not afraid to go in hard on the forecheck and he has some decent hands as well.

Big fan, though I have to keep it down when they visit our Royals…. Hahaha
Oof - your Royals are having a tough season. I feel for you. We were there with the 67's a few years ago - when you hit rock bottom in junior hockey you REALLY hit rock bottom...

That's interesting. Instead of having Ostapchuk be a key part of a shutdown line maybe he'll play with top players in a complimentary role.

Think it’s more that they’ve thrown the 6 locks together.

Gaucher will almost certainly be anchoring a 3rd/4th line down the middle.

Would imagine 2 of Bolduc/Roy/Othmann/Fantilli/Schaeffer/Greene will be taking both LW spots on the top line, with 2/3 of the other guys cut.

Interesting article on Zack Ostapchuk, looks like he is going to be a good gritty player, hopefully turns out like Killorn.

I found the article light on details and facts. I hope Ostapchuk turns out to be a decent NHL player who plays big and has a physical side to his game.
