It seemed like the moment the entire crowd at the AmeriHealth Pavilion were anticipating at Saturday’s Red-White scrimmage. Pavel Zacha, the New Jersey Devils‘ 2015 first round pick, retrieved a loose puck at center ice and appeared to have a clear breakaway on goal. Suddenly the whistle blew to signal an offside on one of Zacha’s teammates who was still in the offensive zone.… read more

Good article, indeed.

But the person who typed it up should learn how to spell Elias's first name :

It's PATRIK. *NOT* Patrick. (it's almost like he wants to americanize Patty's first name just 'cause it sounds like an American first name. Or maybe I'm just overreacting....a tad.)

You're not really overreacting in my opinion. A lot of people misspell my first name and it gets annoying, so it would be nice if Patty's first name was spelled correctly.

I hope Zacha is signed by August 15, to me it seems like he has the wrong agent for someone that wants to be in the NHL with the Devils.

This is the most excited I have been for a forward prospect in...well, a long ass time. Something tells me he will blend in nicely in the NHL. He does seem like quite a wild card in a way not that that's a bad thing...no telling what his ceiling is yet.

Hoping he turns into a Kopitar or Getzlaf. Parise is too low of a expectation for his skill set.

Sometimes players focus their talents into precision rather than flash. Theres nothing wrong with making the right hockey move ten times, even when you know you might be able to break the play open in one of those instances. I'd rather have Zacha learn how to do this. Even the aforementioned Kopitar and especially Getzlaf took the jump to an MVP caliber player when he focused on doing this 2-3 years ago.
