46 - 28 - 8 (100 points)

IN: Tyson Barrie, Alex Kerfoot, Nick Shore, Jason Spezza, Kenny Agostino, Kevin Gravel, Teemu Kivihalme, Cody Ceci, Ilya Mikheyev, Ben Harpur, Aaron Luchuk

OUT: Nazem Kadri, Patty Marleau, Nikita Zaitsev, Michael Carcone, Connor Brown, Ronald Martin Hainsey, Jake Gardiner

Rookies expected to make cut?

Maple Leafs would need to be wowed by below players in training camp to start season. More likely they cook more until halfway point of season then come over.

IN: Colin Miller, Marcus Johansson, Jimmy Vesey, Henri Jokiharju

OUT: Jason Pominville (UFA), Alex Nylander

Rookies Expected to make the cut: Victor Olofsson, C.J. Smith

Also Brandon Montour and Lawrence Pilut should be full time on the D.

A lot deeper of a team than last year so will be interesting to see who else doesn't make the cut because of it. Probably another trade or 2 coming.

In: Kadri, Burakovsky, Donskoi, Bellemare, Makar, Byram (9 games?), Connauton, Francouz

Out: Barrie, Kerfoot, Varlamov, Soderberg, Bourque, Brassard, Nemeth, Andrighetto and some AHL players.

Not sure what's gonna happen with Rosen but I think he will probably start in the AHL. Timmins is my dark horse to make the team this season.

Hey guys stupid question here : how do you put your teams logo there? Do you pick an image from google ? They seem to have the same size though. Thanks for your help

Congrats on that purge.
I rather quite enjoyed the Canucks purge as well.

Holy nightmare, Batman! That's a big giant pile of rubbish in that "out" list. And an expensive pile, at that!

:habs 44-30-8, 96pts.

In: Ben Chiarot, Nick Cousins, Keith Kinkaid, couple AHLers (Phil Varone, Riley Barber).

Out
: Andrew Shaw, Nick Deslauriers, Jordie Benn, Antti Niemi, AHLers (Audette, Lernout, Shinkaruk). Peca and Weise likely to Laval.

Prospects with a chance: Ryan Poehling (likely), Nick Suzuki (chance with injuries), Charlie Lindgren (if Kinkaid's bad), and Jake Evans + Josh Brook are long shots. If Caufield decides to skip college he might get 9 games.

It's rather incredible, for all the great drafting he did Hextall was actively terrible when it came to allowing absolute garbage players to fester on the roster. When people go "well, damn, the Flyers added Hayes and two aging defensemen, how are they gonna be that much better than last year?" that list is basically the answer. When more than a third of your NHL roster on any given night are not NHL-quality players, replacing them with some solid (if unspectacular) contributors and good developing youth will go a loooooong way.

You can go to the smiley logo when replying and hit logos or you can use a colon and your teams' name.

I like Marchment but I think he's just too far down to totem pole with all the depth forwards we brought in. He's also still waiver exempt which makes him a good fit for the Marlies. He'll have to have a really strong camp if he wants to make it this year.
