I get the feeling it's gonna be a tough game tonight. Back to back, with travel is gonna be challenging. Hope our young guys can play solid 60 minute effort tonight. I also hope to see Daws in net, but that's unlikely.

Can't help thinking, that for all the Devils' fans that like to take potshots at Columbus's GM, the Blue Jackets look a lot closer to being relevant than the Devils do.
That depends on what you consider relevant. if you’re talking about relevant as in just being a playoff team sure. If you’re talking in terms of being a contender who could actually have a decent shot to win a Stanley cup Columbus doesn’t have the main pieces or core that could lead them anywhere close to that any time soon IMO. I’d much rather be in our position then theirs.

I actually really like everything they did last offseason after John Davidson came back. Trades and contracts. He seemed to stabilize things after Jarmo's Torts hire ran its course

Realized during post game last night Nico is scoring at a higher rate than Petterrson this year with a lower shooting% and less PP points.

Pettersson (and most Canucks) had a REALLY bad run under Green this year. He's been much better under Boudreau

Who even comments on Jarmo here other than when they went all in a few years back with a borderline playoff team? Which I actually understood because of their barren history, but other people did mock that. In general I don't think the CBJ are a big discussion point either way here though.
