I could see Ennis getting a shot as a specialist. He has proven to be pretty reliable in practice in the shootout. Also seems like a Babcock move. He doesn't always like to defer to the most skilled players.

I thank the dieties every night before bed that my eyes have not been forced to witness a shootout this year. The dieties look an awful lot like the Leafs roster.

Babcock doesn't seem to give a shit about his shootout lineup. He tends to use the slots as a reward for whoever plays well that game.

I'm not inclined to disagree with that philosophy.

This is where it hurts to lose someone like Bozak but honestly i don't think it will come into play too often. Obviously were on a good OT streak but we have such a stacked squad for 3v3 chances are pretty high the game will end in under 5 minutes one way or another.
