Injury Report: Yamamoto week to week with ankle injury

He skated Wednesday and Thursday, you would have to think this would make him at least a game time decision for Saturday ?

I probably shouldn’t get ahead of myself but this is a really good sign .

Isn't today their day off. Happy to see him out there, but wasn't expecting any roster news today.

I think injured players are on a different schedule than non injured players.

I thought Drai had numerous chances but couldn't cash the last few games. I considered that more bad luck than poor effort. Maybe Yamamoto somehow affects his shooting accuracy?

i think yamamoto has excellent puck retrieval skills, passing, and honestly seems to win more than half of those 50/50 puck battles. he get's the puck in those o-zone areas where can pass it out and let drai/rnh get off shots in high percentage scoring areas. having a shot like drai helps too.

Agreed. Nobody is skating with a high ankle sprain this early on. Thank G-d for that, we need this kid bad.

Not sure, but I believe that those are the grades for a normal ankle sprain. A high ankle sprain contains an entirely different set of ligaments that require a lot longer to heal.
