I'm not sure if Caps won this game as much as Flyers lost it.

It's probably time to tweak that 1st line at least for a little while. They are giving it a token effort at best. It would have been nice to see some of the guys who actually contributed during regulation out on the ice in OT.

Actually Backstrom and Ovi were dead tired but they did stick with their men in the defensive zone. That and some luck.

Just got back from the game.

I've been wanting to be patient with Panik, given that he's new on the team and is coming off an injury. But, holy shit, he was f***ing awful tonight. Almost every time he touched the puck was a turnover. He had one decent shot later in the game, but was utterly dreadful with the puck on his stick for the vast majority.
