That's fine. He wasn't going to get a good return considering his injuries last season.

Makes sense if there's no retention, can't really complain with all the young LHD, we needed to make room

Good vet, he was well liked here, good luck to you!

A far cry from the Chiarot-like return we were told was going to happen!

Who are they clearing cap for? It sounds like they're also trying to move Allen to clear cap.

What a stupid mistake. This is obviously referring to the 3rd and 7th overall in next years draft, no!?

Edit: Holy **** and retention!?

He wasn't going to get a good return because of injuries his previous season either. He's statistically one of the worst defenseman in the league.

There are GMs who realize the game isn't played on spreadsheets though. Advanced stats have use but the true believers think they are infallible when they really aren't.

Definitely not the same guy he was pre-injury. Probably still serviceable as a 4/5 on a better team like Edmonton where he doesn’t have to play 20 minutes a night.

Lol nvmd…mid-read Edmundson for Edmonton lol!

Homerun by the Caps here. Is their plan to trade him at the deadline? Doesn't really make much sense.

Heard that before about players being statistically bad and when you watch said player you know it isn't true.

Guy is a solid dman, but just needs to play less ice time.

After the cup run, he was broken (like Weber and Price). That took a toll on him. He played his heart out and put his body on the line. Since that run he's been a broken shell of himself.
