Moderator’s Note:
Hopefully this is the start of a long, fun run for the fans here to enjoy together. I just want to remind everyone of some rules of decorum before we get underway - treat each other with respect, and please report any posts that you feel violate the Site Rules rather than replying to them. Also, not that it should need repeating at this point - using this thread or this board to cheer against the Canucks is trolling and will be treated accordingly.

Relax, have fun, and Go Canucks Go!

Feel like I havent posted on these boards for years (just too much negativity during the rebuilding years), but its great to be back! This series is going to be tough, but the boys showed their true colours when the pressure was on. I say Canucks in 7. Biggest question mark for me is their goaltending, havent looked too much a Lehner this season, is he really good this year or something? Maybe I can't shake my opinion of him in Buffalo and bouncing around between teams a ton.

How do we beat these guys? They have two good goalies.

Goaltending was equal in two of the games and severely in our favor in the four wins against the blues.

Really depends. To win we need

-Boeser from Wild series and tonight to show up

-Virtanen from the past 2 games

-scoring depth from the bottom 6 in the last few games

-playoff Horvat

-Hughes and Pettersson to keep up their current level

-Markstrom to keep up his goaltending

Win or lose, this playoff run has been invaluable to our young core. This team will be more prepared for the challenges of playoff hockey in the future and hold themselves and one another to a higher standard.

We won't be missing the playoffs next season. They will expect themselves to be back here.

I think the Canucks having absolutely zero pressure on this series, could be a huge thing for them. Massive underdogs who can just play hockey.

Should always play to win, but also treat this as an invaluable learning opportunity. Like you said, you rarely get these chances on the big stage with no pressure to actually win.

I do hope that we don't get slaughtered TOO badly.
