They waived a guy with a few games and people think they lost out on the next great player….they traded a 4th for a guy with 600+ games and somehow this is super bad. Someone needs to walk me through it step by step
He was very good in the bottom 6 last night without a single practice or even a game day skate. Knee Jerk reaction by some fans on Friday, before they even saw him play. He was a nice add by Chevy for relatively cheap.

it just wouldnt be a trade deadline if namestnikov wasn't traded with a 4th coming back.
The common denominator here is Rick Bowness. Jim Nill essentially confirmed the other day in his post-deadline presser that the Namestikov trade last year was at the behest of Bowness.
