Title says it all.

I expect Hughes to win by quite a bit, Lafrenière may still be relatively unknown to some.

Neither. I want my team to be good for once.....no more lotteries

Picked Hughes because I definitely don't want us to be sucking in 2020

Both are extremely talented.
Size could be a deciding factor between the two.
Lafreniere is 6'00 and 179 pounds at 16 years old
Hughes is 5'10 and 157 pounds

Lafrieniere for now. The ushl has all of its top players on one team. I would like to see how jack hughes produces in college or the ohl, in a more balanced environment.

As much as it'd be nice to have a Canadian superstar leading the Canucks for irrelevant vain reasons of convenience like cheering for the guy at the Olympics and all that...I'd still lean toward Jack Hughes. He's so insanely dynamic as a skater, and also ostensibly means the Canucks are absolutely awful for ~approximately one less year, which would be nice i think.

Je veux qu'on perd pour Lafrèniere. (I want to lose for Lafrenière.... except it rhymes in French. Other francophones will get it)
Lol I'm not a francophone. I stopped taking french in grade 10 because I disliked it. But I understood your sentence without reading your translation.

Haven't watched Lafreniere much but Hughes is an incredible prospect. If Lafreniere is better than him then he'd probably have to be a McDavid level prospect. Surprised this poll is that close. Hughes outscored him by 9 points at the WHC-17 and I bet he's going to outscore him by a decent margin at the U18's too. Both are born in 2001 and only 5 months apart so I wouldn't put too much stock into the argument about Lafreniere being younger.

Hughes is quite a bit better so Hughes. The age difference is... rather minor, and they have the same birth year. Hughes has far more game-breaking potential in my eyes.
