Which logo is worse?

This tournament features logos eliminated in the first round of the Logo Tournament. For the first round, 1st seed = lowest % votes in previous tournament and 16th seed = highest % votes. For subsequent rounds, seeds will be redone based on the percentage of votes each logo received in their previous matchup.

I think the Jackets logo is worse.

A star with a swooshing flag around it is an automatic fail. This is a franchise with a cool union-army / cannon identity that most fans don't even know about thanks to bad branding including the main logo. Generic stars and stripes on a flag is an auto fail in general.

The Jets logo is generic and a little too literal for my taste, but it's a clean classic look and there is an identity there that the logo helps with.

I think the CBJ logo has too much going on, and hence is the worse one. Both logos are bad, though.

Winnipeg current logo is much worse than their old original logo.

Neither are good but I like the state flag elements in the cbj logo so I voted Winnipeg as the worse one.

My opinion will always be that the Jets logo was an early draft that got rushed out due to a leak.

But still the Jackets. It’s just an odd and unintuitive design that doesn’t bring much to the table and doesn’t stick in one’s head when not looking at it. Even a basic image of a Napoleon cannon was an improvement over it to me.

Jackets need a rebrand, imho.

Case for Columbus:
It's a bit of a knock off of the Avalanche logo. The flag swirling around the star looks a whole lot like the snowy puck swirling around the letter A. Plus, somehow they both have the same colour scheme.

Case for Winnipeg:
Ugh. With an amazing classic logo, how did they decide to go with this? It's somehow busy and bland. It looks like a budget beer brand. Plus, somehow they both have the same colour scheme.

I went with Columbus for the worst. At least there's a jet on the Jets' logo. But there's no bug or soldier on the CBJ one. Some colonial looking franken-flag isn't connecting the logo to the team and name, in my opinion.

Voted Columbus because using the state flag and one of the most popular color palettes in the world is unimaginative and boring. However, it needs to be pointed out that the flag is actually supposed to be the letter ‘C’ wrapped around the star, not just a swoosh. It’s still much worse than the Winnipeg logo though.

The Jets logo is bland and uninspired but the Columbus logo is nonsense. Why is the star wearing a flag as a scarf?! Stars are known for being warm as a result of being giant burning balls of gas in the sky. They wouldn't need scarves.

As a CBJ fan it's the CBJ logo. It's awful.

The cannon logo wouldbe much better as the main.

Winnipeg logo is as bland as they come. Columbus' is hard on they eyes but at least it can say it's "unique"

Columbus had those nice looking 3rd jerseys with the cannon logo. They missed their chance to change it to that. It was way better than what they use

I voted Jets here. But i like both. I just voted Jets because it could be so much better. There's so much wasted potential there, with obvious avenues to a far better logo.

Unlike many people, I actually like Columbus logo especially in comparison to the original logo. That said, the franchise might need a brand new logo and some rebranding, perhaps that will change the fortunes of the team
