I'm not saying that I don't want him to go if we are out of the playoffs. All I am saying is that the WHC are worthless and that the more medal he gets there, the more it means we suck. It is a tournament full of "also ran". Great for him if he it is important to him (and great for us because that makes him happier), but that's it. To me it, it is a lot like Europa League in soccer. It is a great thing to win if you are a smaller club, but if you are Real Madrid or Man U, just to play in that tournament is a "shame". Winning the WHC is a nice thing, but it is far from being the "real" thing. Good for him if he does well there and good for him and his countrymen if this tournament means anything to them.

And with that, this thread comes to a righteous end. And if he's ever traded, I'm gone, regardless of who the GM is. The reasons why should be collectively self-evident. Will be the final sign the people who run this team are living on another planet.
