Thought we could use a thread to discuss our guys and just the WC in general.

Nyquist just scored the OT winner against Latvia. Didn't see the game so not sure what line he's on or anything.

Larkin was one of USA's best players against Canada. Centering the first line with Foligno and Vatrano. Playing PK & PP.

Pulkkinen has had an awesome start to the tourney too.

Dats and Jurco are playing as well. Not sure about anyone else.

The USA-Canada game is on nbcsn from earlier for anyone who wanted to see Larkin play. Looks awesome out there.

USA's roster is really bad. Their defense is Red Wings awful.

The whole team is comprised primarily of collegiate or rookie pro players. US and A NHL players do not, and historically have not, answered the bell for this tournament.

I'm not expecting much when Canada fields guys like Perry, McDavid, Marchand, etc.

The USA roster is a joke. 3 U of M players and a Boston college player with s college goalie. It's not even an AHL roster without Larkin and Matthews. Why bother? And why in the world would you risk injury to Larkin in a **** show like that?

This is great for Larkin's development. He gets to be the horse for Team USA. Lead all forwards in ice time against Canada and that trend is continuing today (just wanted a secondary assist on the Wideman goal). He looks dominant out there and it looks like Hynes agrees.

This is first half Larkin we're seeing right now. Sure it's against Belarus but he's the best player on the ice every time he touches it.
