Worcester prevails 5-4 in shootout over Hartford

(hartfordwolfpack.com) – A three-goal Worcester Shark comeback in the third period boosted Worcester to a 5-4 shootout win over the Hartford Wolf Pack Thursday night, at Quinnipiac University’s TD Bank Sports Center, in AHL preseason action. Ryan Potulny and Danny Kristo had a goal and an assist apiece for the Wolf Pack, but former Quinnipiac Bobcat Jeremy Langlois scored twice, including the third-period tying goal, in his old college home for the Sharks, and Konrad Abeltshauser added a goal and an assist. It took most of the first period for any offense to be generated, but three goals went up on the board in the last 4:40 of the session.
