It's probably some of that but I don't think Dundon is impressed easily because Williams is far from the typical jock. For a guy that basically went straight from juniors to the NHL, he was probably one of the more intelligent and introspective players in the league for much of his career. Obviously it also helps that he still lives in Raleigh and truly wants to be part of the area and team much like Rod did when he retired.
