The current record of 17 consecutive wins belongs to the 1992-93 Pittsburgh Penguins. Will the New Jersey Devils break the record?
Why does it have to be the Rangers who they have to beat to tie the record? Dealing with Ranger fans if they manage to stop the Devils will be so annoying.i would have voted no. but i am not ready to pick a certain game, where they will lose. traditionally caps is the worst match up for them and they were the last team to win against new jersey. gun to my head i would have picked them.
but they can lose against anybody and multiple times.
if they keep the streak alive till the rangers games, it would be best thing to happen. i then would even care about tying the win streak record. it would be an immediate must win game for me. any other opponent i wouldn't really care. Why does it have to be the Rangers who they have to beat to tie the record? No they'll lose tomorrow to Toronto
What did the Toronto do to cause the Hockey Gods to smite their entire defence?Lucky for you, it's going to be AHL night tomorrow as our top 3 dmen are all injured.
Giordano - Holl
Sandin - Liljegren
Benn - Holloway/Mete
Who the hell is talking about the Devils winning the cup? Devils fans are just pumped finally seeing a competitive product.Situation where they may break the record. Yet, still not be 1st overall in East by mid April.
Everyone fully expected that Pens team to win the cup. They choked in round 2.
Still tons of doubters about NJ winning the cup.
Too many Kerfoot proposalsWhat did the Toronto do to cause the Hockey Gods to smite their entire defence?
I don't think there's a single Devils fan that would class this team as a Cup contender right now.Situation where they may break the record. Yet, still not be 1st overall in East by mid April.

Just no way. Inconceivable! Why do people think Toronto will beat the Devils in New Jersey without 3 of their top d-men? No way Leafs win that game. I think they lose to Rangers in NY
