It appears that deals for Aaron Ward, Markus Naslund and Marco Sturm may be close.

As it is clear the Wild simply don't have what it takes to be a playoff team, the market was open in Minnesota.

Minnesota BADLY wanted a 2nd in 2009, so they included a swap of 2010 2nd, where Philly will likely draft lower. They also picked a quality player in Pyatt a HUGE amount of $$ savings.
